All the fun isn’t just on the water. Rent a bike to get around Marathon or head out on the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail.
Biking in the keys and Marathon is a great way to get around to also get outside. Depending on how adventurous you are you can ride all the way to Key West or head north on the bike path up to Islamorada. There are paths throughout Marathon so riding to Sombrero Beach is only a 20-minute ride and easily doable.
You can also take your bike to any point of the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail (FKOHT) which has more than 90 linear miles of trail paved segments that will ultimately complete a 106-mile corridor from Key Largo to Key West. The existing FKOHT is paved in segments along the corridor from Key Largo to Key West, with the longest, continuous section of paved trail currently located in the Upper Keys between MM 106 at Key Largo and through MM 72 at Islamorada, Village of Islands.
DISTANCE: Start from the house and go exploring
